One way I found to promote your blog is by commenting on other people’s blog’s. Although it is better to comment on someone who does not have many subscribers because it is more likely for them to comment you back. I just happened to come across some blog’s that I enjoyed reading. This blog interested me so I wrote something that I thought the author might find valuable. I was hoping the comment that I left would entertain the author enough to check out my blog site. You have to write something that makes them want to see what your blog is about. If you both write about something similar you both have a common interest and you can talk about the topic together. By making comments to another person page I was therefore promoting my blog. If something interests you, you should leave a comment. By leaving a comment that might be useful to the author you might get some sort of feedback from them.
Another plus of commenting on someone else’s blog is that a person who reads the person’s blog that you commented on might like what you wrote in you comment and then go to your blog to see what your all about. This tends to increase the people that view your page. If many people like what a person wrote on their blog and view it all the time, by you making an interesting comment can gain their attention. This attention could be a great thing for you. If the other people like what your comment is they might just view your page. Possibly, the people might like what you write and then makes some comments about what you have to say. This defiantly promotes your blog.
While surfing around and trying to figure out how to use blogs I found a few blogs that I enjoyed reading. My favorite blog is Stuff White People Like. The topic that this person wrote about intrigued me. His title did also, so I checked out his blog. The things he wrote just seemed to amuse me. While surfing I looked at what other people had to say about what he wrote. He had like 300 plus comments. I couldn’t believe it. So many people like what he had to say. I also enjoyed reading what the other people left as comments. Some people had interesting things to say about what this guy wrote and it lead me to look at their blog site. This defiantly promotes their blog. Althought I would have to say I wasn’t as interested to these other people’s blogs as I was this one guy, but it was fun to see them.
The comment is not what is important, but it defiantly can increase the interest to other people. Promoting your blog is important because you could gain more readers and this could lead to things like money and companies wanting top pay you to promote their items. Ultimately it can be money in your pocket, just for writing things that you feel are important to you!
